The Criminal Defence Department
The Department is one of the most highly regarded in the country, featuring in the Chambers Directory as one of the leading Criminal Law firms in the South West. The Criminal Defence Department is headed by Ian Kelcey who is an experienced Criminal Defence Practitioner. He is Chairman of the Bristol Law Society Criminal Law Committee, and a former President of the Bristol Law Society. In addition, Ian is a representative on the user committees of Bristol Crown Court and Bristol Magistrates Court, as well as being Bristol’s representative on the Regional Duty Solicitor Committee. He is currently Chairman of the Criminal Law Solicitors Association and a member of the Law Society National Criminal Law Committee.
