Defendant acquitted of historical sexual allegations, abuse, and stalking

R v B (March 2024)

The defendant was accused of historic sexual allegations and abuse on his adopted daughter throughout the 1970’s. It was also alleged that he had stalked her in the late 2010’s causing her to fear violence.  B was acquitted after an 8-day trial at Salisbury Crown Court.
