Defendant acquitted of rape following trial

R v S (December 2025)

S was charged with multiple counts of rape following a night out. S maintained throughout that any sexual intercourse was consensual. S was also interviewed at the police station in relation to allegations perverting the course of justice however, after successful representations by Ian Kelcey, these resulted in no further action being taken. At trial S was acquitted of all counts of rape.
