Defendant acquitted of voyeurism and perverting the course of justice following trial

R v H (October 2025)

H was alleged to have recorded a sexual video between himself and the complainant without her consent. Following this it was alleged that H had sought to prevent the complainant from disclosing information to the police. H’s defence was that the video was not recorded for the purpose of sexual gratification and that at no time did he pervert the court of justice. Following a trial, H was acquitted of both charges.
