Defendant acquitted of Death by Dangerous Driving

R v KW

The client pleaded guilty to allegation of death by careless driving to which the crown did not accept. After a 4 day trial, the defendant was then acquitted of more serious allegation of causing death by dangerous driving involving racing another vehicle on the A4 Portway road in Bristol.

The case involved the instruction of expert witness Pete Davey viewpoint investigationsfor the defence. The Prosecution’s expert then had to concede numerous points raised by defence expert.
