Louis Merrett

Louis is a trainee solicitor and accredited police station representative. He completed his Law with French degree at the University of Liverpool, obtaining a First Class with Honours. He then studied for the LPC and obtained a Distinction. During his undergraduate degree, he spent a year at the Sorbonne University in Paris studying both French and international law. He also was part of the Liverpool Law Clinic helping support children with SEND secure places at schools appropriate for their needs.

He began the process of police station accreditation during his studies for the LPC and has been fully accredited since December 2024. He has advised and represented clients on a wide variety of criminal cases in the police station including complex burglaries and serious child sex offences.

Louis brings a meticulous approach to his work and has been praised by clients for his supportive and empathetic approach throughout their cases. He can speak fluent French and in his spare time enjoys playing tennis, running, and cycling.
