Pensioner jailed for false VAT claims

R v DH

This case involved acting for a client who by his own admission had defrauded HMRC of a sum in excess of £600,000 by way of VAT over-payments, and as a result of which, the client received a sentence of 2 years 10 months.

The case was prepared by Ian Kelcey and Counsel instructed was Robin Shellard of Queen Square Chambers, Bristol.
